Majahual, Puerto Costa Maya, Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Puerto Maya. The area known as Costa Maya is the coastal region that extends from the border of the Sian Ka'an in the north to Belize in the South. The area is changing rapidly. Majahual, (also spelled Mahahual or Mahajual) is arguably the center of the Costa Maya, and has been welcoming cruise ships since Dec. 2002 with shops and tourist activities.
